Rachel Chinouriri Announces Second Album 'I think I spoke too soon,' Due October 16

British independent singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri announced her second album, I think I spoke too soon, on July 29, 2026. The record is set for release on October 16, 2026, and arrives alongside the lead single "One song away from crying," which dropped the same day.

The new album and lead single

I think I spoke too soon follows Chinouriri's 2024 debut album What A Devastating Turn Of Events. The announcement came paired with the release of the new single "One song away from crying."

Since her debut, Chinouriri has toured as support for Sabrina Carpenter and Florence + The Machine, and appeared on Pinkpantheress's remix album Fancy Some More?

Daisy Chain Fields appearance

Chinouriri has also been confirmed for Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields shows. According to Stereogum, that booking forms part of the backdrop to this album announcement.
