Post Malone Scraps 8 Asia Dates, Bruno Mars Set to Fill Australasian Void

Post Malone has cancelled his planned four-city Australian stadium tour — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth — along with a co-headline slot at the Strummingbird festival and eight scheduled shows across Asia. According to a roundup by IQ Magazine's newsletter The Load Out, the cancellations landed the same week as another Australian market casualty: TEG's country music festival Longhaul Festival, which has also been called off. Into the newly open touring window steps Bruno Mars, who has announced multi-night shows across Australasia for early next year.

What's been cancelled

Refund processes and other details have not yet been announced by promoters or ticketing platforms in the affected markets.

Longhaul Festival called off

Longhaul Festival, a country music festival run by Australian ticketing and entertainment group TEG, was also cancelled the same week. The lineup had been headlined by Kacey Musgraves and Kane Brown. Organizers have not explained the reason for the cancellation or whether the festival will return in a future year.

Bruno Mars heads to Australasia

Bruno Mars has announced multi-night shows in Australasia for early next year — meaning consecutive performances in the same city over several nights. Specific cities, venues and exact dates have not yet been announced, and ticketing information has not been released.
