Pokémon's 30th Anniversary Song Names All 1,025 Pokémon in 22 Minutes
The Pokémon Company released the complete version of its 30th anniversary song "Pokémon All Stars 1025" on September 3. The track runs 22 minutes and is performed by Japanese singer Masayoshi Oishi, who names every one of the 1,025 Pokémon that have appeared across the games, trading card game, films and TV anime. The project was first announced earlier this year, with a first chapter released in April; this marks the song's first complete release. According to NME, the full video is paired with a handmade scrapbook featuring a dedicated page for each Pokémon.

The video ends with a brief teaser of three new starter Pokémon set to debut next year in Pokémon Winds & Waves. The full version of "Pokémon All Stars 1025" is now available on streaming platforms, alongside an instrumental-only version.
Other music moves in the 30th anniversary campaign
Earlier this year, The Pokémon Company released a video featuring Lady Gaga singing alongside Jigglypuff. That anniversary ad campaign, titled "What's Your Favourite," also featured BLACKPINK's JISOO, Trevor Noah, F1 driver Charles Leclerc, Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko, Spanish footballer Lamine Yamal and actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan discussing their favorite Pokémon, with the brand describing the aim as showcasing its 30-year legacy to a diverse, multi-generational global audience.
Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance at the Pokémon World Championship, performing "Celestial," the theme song he wrote for Scarlet/Violet, and delivering an acoustic rendition of the original anime's theme song. Later this year, Marshmello will headline two Pokémon "Night Out" EDM parties in London and Los Angeles, with Alison Wonderland also performing, as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations.
Film and TV projects
Next year will see the release of a new animated film, Wild Card, described as the story of a Pokémon card game player and his partner Mimikyu. Attendees at the World Championship also got an early look at The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu, a stop-motion animated series from Aardman, the studio behind Wallace & Gromit, which will air on Disney+.
