Mercury Prize 2026: Full Performer Lineup Announced
The UK's Mercury Prize announced its 2026 ceremony performer lineup via an Instagram video, naming ten acts spanning from the Britpop era to current British R&B, rap and jungle scenes. The list includes Florence + the Machine, Pulp, Suede, RAYE and Nia Archives. Pulp's entry is specifically credited to "HELP(2)." A lineup that spans generations
The list pairs two of the defining Britpop-era groups, Pulp and Suede, with artists who have been fixtures of recent UK awards seasons, RAYE and Olivia Dean. Nia Archives and Kojey Radical represent the jungle/drum and bass and rap sides of the current UK scene, while Jade Thirlwall appears in her solo capacity following her departure from Little Mix.
The Mercury Prize is built around selecting the best British or Irish album of the year, and its ceremony has traditionally centered on live performance, with shortlisted acts typically playing one song each. This year, several of the announced performers are not appearing as nominees but as ceremony guest performers.
