The Jesus And Mary Chain and The Psychedelic Furs Announce 2027 UK Co-Headline Tour
Scottish noise-rock veterans The Jesus And Mary Chain and English new wave band The Psychedelic Furs have announced a co-headline UK tour for January 2027. The run opens Tuesday, January 19 at Leeds O2 Academy and closes Friday, January 29 at London British Airways ARC, with eight shows in total across the UK.
As reported by NME, general on-sale is Friday, September 25 at 10am BST, with a presale starting Wednesday, September 23 at 10am BST. This pairing follows the two bands' co-headline North American tour in 2024.

Where things stand for both bands
The Psychedelic Furs cancelled a run of US dates this summer citing a "serious health issue" within the band, leaving only one remaining date on their schedule: November 14 at the Darker Waves Festival in California. The band's signature song "Pretty In Pink" recently appeared in the opening episode, "The Crawl," of season five of Netflix's Stranger Things.
The Jesus And Mary Chain's eighth studio album, Glasgow Eyes, was released in March 2024. Guitarist William Reid recently criticized Eddie Van Halen in an interview, saying he "ruined rock guitar" and calling him one of the worst guitarists in the world, while arguing that Peter Hook's basslines were far superior.
