Madonna Brings Kylie Minogue Onstage at Amsterdam WorldPride for 'Love Sensation' Duet

Madonna brought out a surprise guest at her Confessions II album release party in Amsterdam on Saturday, August 1, 2026: Kylie Minogue, who joined her for a duet on the new album's track "Love Sensation." The show, held at AFAS Live during WorldPride Amsterdam, marked only the second time the two pop icons have shared a stage, following their appearance at LA's Kia Forum in March 2024 on Madonna's "Celebration" tour.

What happened onstage

Honey Dijon and Bebe Rexha opened the night, with Madonna performing for roughly 30 minutes. When "Love Sensation" started, Minogue emerged from the wings in a metallic purple outfit to sing the Confessions II track alongside her. Minogue stayed on for the rest of the set — the pair also sang "Sorry" and "Hung Up" from Madonna's 2005 album Confessions On A Dance Floor, which the new album revisits.

Minogue posted afterward on Instagram, thanking "everyone who came out for Club Confessions World Pride Amsterdam." Footage of the performance has circulated widely on social media, including via accounts like Pop Crave.

The album and their history

Confessions II was released in July 2026, produced by Stuart Price, who also worked on the original 2005 Confessions On A Dance Floor. NME gave the album four stars, calling it Madonna's most significant record in over two decades.

Rumors had circulated that Minogue would appear on Confessions II as a guest, with Madonna notably dodging the question when asked directly on The Graham Norton Show. Their previous joint appearance came at the Kia Forum stop of Madonna's Celebration tour in March 2024, which fell on International Women's Day — the pair sang Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" and an a cappella version of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head."

Minogue's appearance in Amsterdam came just two days after she reunited with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds in Brighton to perform "Where The Wild Roses Grow." Madonna, for her part, had earlier performed at the halftime show of the first-ever FIFA World Cup final.
