Madonna Turns 68: Free Immersive Exhibition Opens in London
Madonna turns 68, and London is marking the occasion with a free immersive exhibition. "C'Mon Meet Me On The Dancefloor" opens Sunday, August 16 at Outernet London, right in the city centre, with no admission charge.
The exhibition is created and directed by Lookport Studio in collaboration with the venue, wrapping music and large-scale visual storytelling around The Now Building's 360-degree digital screens. Screenings run in multiple slots daily, with the schedule posted on Outernet's official site. According to NME, fans attending in person can also leave personal messages, with organizers selecting some photos and notes to display on the screens.

Lookport founder and creative director Alex Wolf said Madonna has refused to stop, reinventing herself through decades of nonstop work and helping write the language of modern pop culture — the team wanted audiences to express their own connection to her work through personal stories and emotion. Outernet CEO Philip O'Ferrall called it an honor to present the bond between Madonna and her fans in this interactive form.
Confessions II and recent activity
Madonna released her 15th studio album, Confessions II, last month, again working with producer Stuart Price as a sequel to 2005's Confessions On A Dance Floor. NME gave it four stars, calling it her most vital work in over two decades.
She also appeared at Outernet London last month for the "Club Confessions" album release party, DJing alongside Stuart Price and her daughter Lourdes, and performed "Physical Attraction" live for the first time in 40 years during the set. More recently, she invited Kylie Minogue for a surprise duet of "Love Sensation" at WorldPride Amsterdam, and the two later released an "Afterhours" remix of the track.
As for the much-speculated Glastonbury headlining slot, organizer Emily Eavis confirmed this week that Madonna will not headline next summer, despite hints she made earlier this year.
