Hana Stretton Shares Two More Tracks From Upcoming Album 'tiarn'

Anglo-Australian musician Hana Stretton released two new songs, "Seagull Theory II" and "As It Was Before This," on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Both tracks are set to appear on her upcoming album tiarn. This follows last month's announcement of the album along with two earlier lead singles.

About Hana Stretton and 'tiarn'

Stretton's work centers on ambient folk, blending samples, field recordings, and original tracks into soft, emotionally layered soundscapes. She's often compared to Grouper and Claire Rousay.

Her 2023 album Soon was reissued by P.W. Elverum & Suns, the label run by Phil Elverum (Mount Eerie), who has also publicly voiced his support for her work. Full release details for tiarn — including date and label — have not yet been announced.
