Glastonbury 2027 Weekend Tickets Rise to £408, On Sale October 4
Glastonbury Festival has announced ticket details for its 2027 edition, the first since the event's 2026 fallow year. Weekend tickets will cost £408 plus a £5 booking fee — up nearly £30 from 2025's £378.50, and the first time the festival has crossed the £400 threshold. General sale opens on October 4, 2026 (Sunday) at 9am.

Headliner rumors — and Madonna ruled out
According to Far Out Magazine, organizers have not yet revealed the 2027 headliners alongside the ticket announcement, but names circulating for months as possible Pyramid Stage acts include Harry Styles, Robbie Williams, Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift.
Madonna has been ruled out. Festival organizer Emily Eavis told BBC Radio 4's The Media Show that the 2027 headliner is "definitely not" the Vogue singer. She also said this year's lineup has three headliners — "we have got three headliners" — and that preparations are going well.
What was 2025 like
The 2025 edition's Pyramid Stage headliners were The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo, with secret sets from Pulp, Haim and Skepta. Other performers included Charli XCX, Wolf Alice, Doechii and Alanis Morissette.
That year also saw Kneecap and Bob Vylan lead political chants and make pro-Palestinian statements onstage, drawing political backlash and ongoing controversy over how the BBC handled its broadcast.
Glastonbury was co-founded by Michael Eavis in 1970. In an earlier BBC interview, he described the festival's long-running battles with the local council, villagers, magistrates and police, saying: "The fight was really what made it work."
