Ed Sheeran Tour Fallout: Entire Opening Lineup Exits, Backing Band Beoga Also Out

The supporting lineup on Ed Sheeran's tour has seen a complete shake-up. Finneas, Lukas Graham and Aaron Rowe have each announced they are pulling out as opening acts, and Beoga, the band that has long served as Sheeran's backing group, has also left — effectively clearing out the entire support cast at once. This wave of departures comes after Macklemore was removed from the opening lineup following a "Free Palestine" statement he made during the New Jersey show.

Who's out

Each act has issued its own statement explaining the decision to leave, and Ed Sheeran himself has also released a personal statement addressing the situation.

What triggered it: Macklemore's New Jersey show

The chain of events traces back to Macklemore's "Free Palestine" statement made during the New Jersey show, after which he was removed from the tour's opening lineup. In a statement issued the day before, Macklemore said his commitment to speaking out publicly has not changed.

News of the situation was compiled and posted by the Instagram account pigsandplans, along with image cards containing the full text of the various statements.
