EA Sports FC 27 Soundtrack Revealed: 120 Artists From 36 Countries
EA has published the complete soundtrack for its football game EA Sports FC 27, featuring 120 acts from 36 countries. Confirmed names include Royal Blood, The Strokes, Blossoms and Yard Act. The game launches Friday, September 25, with players who pre-order the special edition getting early access starting Friday, September 18. According to NME, the tracklist also includes currently unreleased new material from Mura Masa and Cage The Elephant.
Tracklist highlights
EA Games president of music and marketing Steve Schnur said that over the past 20 years, the EA Sports FC soundtrack has "become a kind of international institution," calling FC 27's lineup one of the most globally representative in the series' history.
Cage The Elephant's "Dying In Reverse" gets its first public airing through the game — the band said they were "happy the new song could premiere this year" and are looking forward to hearing it in-game. Producer Dahi's "How To Pray" features Kendrick Lamar and Amber Mark. Other artists on the soundtrack include Interpol, Bonobo, Joji, Cypress Hill, Chase & Status with Little Simz, Jamie T, Fat Dog and Jim Legxacy, among others.
