COUNTDOWN JAPAN 26/27 Reveals First Lineup: 97 Acts, 179 Sets Across 5 Days and 4 Stages

COUNTDOWN JAPAN 26/27 (CDJ 26/27), one of Japan's largest indoor year-end music festivals, has revealed its first-wave lineup of 97 acts along with their performance dates. The first lottery-based ticket application window opened at the same time. This edition keeps last year's expanded five-day format, with 179 total act-slots spread across four stages over the run.

Dates and venue

The festival runs across five days, but unlike a straight five-day run, December 28 (Monday) is a rest day in the middle — worth noting when planning travel or tickets. The venue is Makuhari Messe (幕張メッセ) in Chiba, using International Exhibition Halls 1–11 and the Event Hall; on December 26 only Halls 1–11 are in use. The festival keeps its four-stage setup, including the MOON STAGE, which returned last year after a six-year hiatus and continues this time.

First-wave lineup (97 acts)

The first wave includes acts such as KANA-BOON, Creepy Nuts, Juice=Juice, Awich, HY, sumika, ENHYPEN, Saucy Dog, 10-FEET, LiSA, and more, spread across the five performance dates, with further acts to be announced later. Specific stage and set times will be announced at a later date.

An indoor year-end festival

CDJ has been organized by ROCKIN'ON JAPAN since 2003 and is one of Japan's largest year-end music festivals, held entirely indoors regardless of weather or temperature. The organizer positions this as its "ultimate comfort festival" appeal, emphasizing that attendees can enjoy the full event indoors, with a countdown performance taking place on December 31.
