Korean Band CHS Return to Tokyo for Two-Night Run After Two-Year Gap
South Korean tropical psych-rock band CHS will return to Japan for the first time in two years, playing two Tokyo shows on consecutive nights: September 29, 2026 (Tuesday) at Tsukimi Ru Kimi Omou (月見ル君想フ) in Aoyama, and September 30 (Wednesday) at Shibuya 7th FLOOR. Both dates are headline shows with guest live acts and DJ sets built around them, and tickets are already on sale via Peatix.

Beyond the two Tokyo dates, CHS will also perform at Nagano's Ringo Music Festival (りんご音楽祭) during this Japan visit.
A band with regional ties
CHS is known for tight rhythms paired with humid, psychedelic guitar and synth textures — a sound the band describes as blending Black music groove, post-rock's repetitive structures, and shoegaze's hazy tone. Based in Korea, CHS has built ongoing ties with the Japanese and Taiwanese scenes, having previously collaborated with Japanese artist mei ehara and Taiwanese rapper someshiit 山姆. Their own festival, The Grateful Camp, has hosted Japanese acts Shintaro Sakamoto and YOUR SONG IS GOOD in past editions.
