Deftones' Chino Moreno Duets with Beabadoobee on New Track "Satellite"
Deftones singer Chino Moreno has teamed up with Beabadoobee (real name Beatrice Laus) on a new track, "Satellite," which closes out her fourth studio album, Pylon. The album arrives on September 18, 2026 (a Friday), and "Satellite" was released alongside an official lyric video. According to NME, Moreno takes a subdued backing-vocal role on the song, which builds from a quiet verse into a heavily distorted, alt-rock chorus.

NME singled out "Satellite" in its four-star review of Pylon, writing that the song captures the feeling of "returning to someone no matter how much time has passed," and pointing to it as one of the clearest showcases of Laus's emotional maturity and songwriting. The review concludes that Beabadoobee doesn't offer answers to the anxieties of growing up on the record — and doesn't need to.
Pylon's guest list includes Hayley Williams of Paramore, Brendan Yates of Turnstile, Evan Stephens Hall of Pinegrove, and Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975. Shane Moran of Title Fight co-wrote several tracks on the album. Previously released singles from the record include "Memories," "Switchblade," and "Sun Has Set."
What both artists have been up to
Beabadoobee is currently on her first-ever arena tour spanning the UK, Europe and North America. Next month's dates cover the US and Canada, while the UK and European leg is scheduled for November, including a show at London's The O2 plus stops in Glasgow, Cardiff and Manchester. Earlier this year she released "All I Did Was Dream Of You" with The Marías, with a music video drawing on imagery from Yorgos Lanthimos's Bugonia, and covered Elliott Smith's "Say Yes" for the War Child charity compilation Help(2).
Deftones, meanwhile, headlined Outbreak x All Points East in London last month — the band's largest-ever UK headline show — before wrapping up a European tour run.
