Bowery Presents Co-Presidents Step Down, Four-Person Team Takes Over

Bowery Presents, the AEG Presents-owned promoter and venue operator on the U.S. East Coast, is undergoing a leadership change: co-presidents John Moore and Jim Glancy are stepping down from their current roles, handing the company to a newly formed four-person leadership team. The move was reported by journalist Hanna Ellington on September 29, 2026.
Moore co-founded Bowery Presents in 2004. AEG Presents acquired the company outright in 2016. Over the years Bowery has promoted shows in New York, Boston, Philadelphia and other cities, bringing in artists including LCD Soundsystem, Brandi Carlile and Tyler, the Creator. Glancy joined as a partner in 2006 after moving over from Live Nation.
Who's taking over, and who does what
As part of the transition, four executives — Josh Bhatti, Charley Magrew, Andrew Martin and Josh Moore — have all been promoted to senior vice president, jointly taking the reins of the company. All four will report to Brent Fedrizzi, president of AEG Presents North America.
- Charley Magrew: marketing, ticketing, sponsorship and venues, based in the New York office
- Josh Moore: talent, based in the New York office
- Andrew Martin: business and legal affairs, based in Nashville
- Josh Bhatti: leads New England-area operations, based in Boston
Magrew, Martin and Josh Moore will jointly steer strategy and day-to-day leadership out of the New York office.
What the executives are saying
Fedrizzi said Bowery Presents is an internationally recognized brand that has played a key role in many artists' careers, making it important to find the right people to lead its next chapter. He noted that promoting from within "reflects the culture that Jim and John built," and he thanked Moore and Glancy for their contributions to AEG.
In a joint statement, Glancy and Moore said founding Bowery Presents and growing it together had been an incredibly rewarding journey, and they expressed gratitude to the team and everyone who had been part of it. They added that all four successors had made major contributions during their respective tenures, and that it was gratifying to see them take this step together — "the company is in capable hands."
