bloodthirsty butchers' complete edition of their fourth album, kocorono Kanzenban, will get its first-ever vinyl release on October 23, 2026 — the exact 30th anniversary of the original album's release. The new pressing is a 180g double LP (catalog number KIJS-90045/6) from King Records. It's now available for preorder on the artists.tw shop for NT$1,950.

About kocorono Kanzenban

The original kocorono was released on October 23, 1996, and stands as bloodthirsty butchers' most iconic work, holding significant standing in Japanese rock history. In 2010, a remastered edition with one extra track — kocorono Kanzenban — was released on CD, and it's this version that forms the basis of the new vinyl release.

The album moves through 11 months of emotional terrain starting with "February" and closing with "December," with the bonus track "January" placed on Disc 2 Side B, bringing the record full circle. Despite never getting an overseas physical release or landing on any digital streaming platform, kocorono still holds a place in Rate Your Music's ranking of Japanese music history, drawing a substantial international fanbase.

Formed in 1986 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, bloodthirsty butchers disbanded in 2013, but the band's influence shows no signs of fading.
