Wonderfruit

Wonderfruit is Thailand's Burning-Man-adjacent arts, music and sustainability festival, held each December at The Fields of the Siam Country Club near Pattaya, about two hours' drive from Bangkok. Across four days it blends electronic and live music with large-scale art installations, wellness, food and design, all built around an environmental ethos. The crowd is heavily international and the whole event is English-run, making it the most "destination" festival in Southeast Asia — people fly in for it.

2026 lineup (to be announced): Wonderfruit reveals its bill in phases across six stages, spanning international headliners, underground electronic acts, Thai indie and world-music ensembles. As of July 2026 the official programme for the 11th edition (3–7 December 2026) had not yet been announced — check wonderfruit.co/directory for confirmed acts.

1. Buy in English, direct or via Eventpop. Wonderfruit sells through its own site (wonderfruit.co) and the Thai ticketing platform Eventpop — both English, no Thai phone number, ID or address required.
2. It's a first-come sale, not a lottery. Tiered passes go on sale months ahead; early-bird "peep" tickets are cheapest and the price steps up as tiers sell out. Buy early.
3. Foreign cards work. International Visa/Mastercard are accepted; if 3D-Secure prompts, approve it in your banking app. Have a backup card ready.
4. You get a QR e-ticket → wristband on site. Your QR is exchanged at the gate for an RFID wristband that doubles as the cashless payment band ("Wonder") — preload credit for food, drinks and merch.
5. Bring your ACTUAL passport. Thai events increasingly check the original passport (not a photocopy) at the gate, and some name-match the ticket. For resale, use only Eventpop's official transfer, not private sellers.

Route: Fly into Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) — or U-Tapao (UTP), closer to Pattaya — then reach the site by car (~2 hrs from Bangkok, ~40 min from Pattaya). There is no public transport to The Fields; the festival sells official shuttle-bus passes from Bangkok and Pattaya, which are the easiest option.

⚠️ No last train: the site is rural with no rail or late public transport — you must camp, take the official shuttle, or pre-arrange a car. Don't rely on hailing a taxi out at night.

Staying: on-site camping (bring or rent a tent, or buy a pre-pitched/glamping package) keeps you in the festival and avoids the commute. Otherwise base in Pattaya hotels and use the shuttle. Book either months ahead — accommodation and shuttle passes sell out.

Bring: December is Thailand's cool dry season — warm layers for chilly nights, a dust mask/bandana and comfortable shoes for a large dusty site; sun protection by day. Carry some cash as backup to the cashless band.
