Maho Rasop Festival

Thailand's best-curated indie festival, bringing cult global acts to Southeast Asia.

🇹🇭 Bangkok, ThailandDates TBA

About

Maho Rasop is Bangkok's tastemaker indie and alternative festival, running since 2018 and known for curation over scale. It brings emerging and cult international acts — the likes of Interpol, Alex G and Phum Viphurit — to Southeast Asia alongside the best regional indie, typically over a weekend in the cooler, drier late-year window (around October to December). It's English-friendly and beloved by the region's discerning music crowd. Confirm the exact 2026 dates and venue on the official site, as both move year to year.

Lineup

Last year's lineup (this year not announced yet)

Last year's lineup (2026 TBA): the 2025 edition ran as "Maho Rasop The Series" — a run of curated shows across late 2025 rather than a single weekend. Confirmed acts included:

  • Black Country, New Road
  • L'Impératrice
  • Suchmos

How foreigners buy tickets

  1. Buy in English via Ticketmelon. Maho Rasop sells through the Thai platform Ticketmelon (and sometimes Eventpop) — English checkout, no Thai phone number, ID or address required.
  2. First-come sale. Early-bird tickets are cheapest and prices rise as the lineup is announced; a boutique festival can sell out, so buy once dates drop.
  3. Foreign cards work. International Visa/Mastercard accepted; approve any 3D-Secure prompt in your banking app.
  4. QR e-ticket. You receive a QR e-ticket to scan at the gate — download it offline before you travel.
  5. Bring your ACTUAL passport for gate ID checks; use only official Ticketmelon transfer for resale.

Getting there & staying

Route: Fly into Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) or Don Mueang (DMK). The venue varies by edition (recent years used large event grounds such as Live Park on Rama IX) — check the announced site and its nearest MRT, Airport Rail Link or BTS station.

⚠️ Last train: Bangkok's MRT/BTS stop around midnight; if the festival runs later, plan a Grab/taxi back rather than getting stranded.

Staying: city festival, no camping — stay in any central Bangkok hotel near the MRT/BTS and commute to the announced venue.

Bring: the late-year window is Bangkok's coolest and driest, but a late shower is possible — a light poncho, comfortable shoes and sun protection cover it. Carry some cash for vendors.
