About

JAM JAM ASIA (JJA), the music centrepiece of Taipei's city-run TRENDY TAIPEI (潮臺北) programme, is a pan-Asian pop and indie festival held indoors and outdoors at the Taipei Music Center. Curated by a panel of well-known Taiwanese music figures, it spans multiple stages and 80-plus acts, deliberately mixing Taiwanese artists with Korean, Japanese and Southeast Asian names. Its international, city-centre format and large, English-friendly venue make it one of the easiest big festivals in Taiwan for an overseas visitor.

Lineup

The 2026 lineup is announced across waves. Confirmed international and Taiwanese names include HYUKOH (KR), ATARASHII GAKKO! (JP), Voice of Baceprot / VOB (ID), 蔡健雅 Tanya Chua, 許光漢 Greg Han, 落日飛車 Sunset Rollercoaster, 陳珊妮, 楊乃文 Naiwen Yang and 告五人 Accusefive, with curation by Kay Huang, Mavis Fan, Mayday's Masa and others. Check the official site for stage splits and set times.

How foreigners buy tickets

This is a ticketed festival. Tickets are sold via iBon (ibon.com.tw and 7-Eleven ibon kiosks across Taiwan). General prices are around NT$2,188 for a single day (29 or 30 Aug) and NT$3,888 for a two-day pass; discounted student and concession tickets also exist. Foreign Visa/Mastercard are accepted online and there's no Japanese/Korean-style local-phone or real-name barrier — but the ibon site is Chinese-first, so if the online flow is awkward you can also buy or collect at any 7-Eleven ibon kiosk in Taiwan. Buy early; popular days sell out.

Getting there & staying

Venue: the Taipei Music Center (臺北流行音樂中心) in Nangang, eastern Taipei.

Staying: anywhere on the Bannan blue line puts you a direct ride from the site; Nangang and central Taipei both have plenty of hotels.
