Good Vibes Festival
Kuala Lumpur's flagship international festival and the main reason global fans fly to KL for live music.
About
Good Vibes is Malaysia's biggest international music festival — Kuala Lumpur's flagship event, with major Western and Asian headliners across indie, pop and electronic. It runs mid-year (recent editions in June–July) and has bounced between the cool-climate Resorts World Genting and the Sepang International Circuit near KLIA, so confirm the exact 2026 date and venue on the official site before booking travel. English-friendly and well-run, it is the main reason international fans fly to KL for live music.

How foreigners buy tickets
- Buy in English online. Tickets are sold directly by the organiser, Future Sound Asia, routed through Ticketmaster Malaysia — an English platform. No Malaysian ID or address is required.
- First-come, not a lottery. Sale opens at a set time; early-bird and tiered passes sell first, so buy early. There is no ballot.
- Foreign cards work. International Visa and Mastercard are generally accepted; an OTP / 3D-Secure prompt may appear, so use a verification-enabled card and keep a backup ready.
- You get a QR e-ticket. Delivery is a QR e-ticket exchanged for an RFID cashless wristband at the gate; no local phone number is needed to receive it.
- If it sells out. Use only reputable resale; there is no strict real-name gate check, so a transferred ticket generally works.
Getting there & staying
Route: Fly into Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA/KUL). If the edition is at Genting Highlands, it is ~1 hour from KL by bus/car plus the Awana Skyway cable car; if at Sepang, it is close to KLIA. Official festival shuttles usually run from central KL.
⚠️ Last shuttle: for a Genting or Sepang site, confirm the last shuttle/bus back to KL — the venues are outside the city and taxis thin out late.
Staying: No camping. Stay in a KL city hotel and commute by shuttle/Grab, or book a room at Resorts World Genting if the edition is up the mountain (these sell out early on a festival weekend).
Bring: Genting is cool, misty and prone to rain; lowland Sepang is hot and humid — pack a light rain layer either way and download your QR ticket offline.
