About
Chaopai Lukang (潮派鹿港) is a free music-and-culture festival set at Lukang Stadium in the historic temple town of Lukang, Changhua. It pairs a big Taiwanese lineup with markets, design and the old-town atmosphere Lukang is famous for — in 2025 it ran as a headline event of the Taiwan Design Expo. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 16–18 October and, in keeping with the event, is expected to be free to attend.

How foreigners buy tickets
Entry is free — no ticket needed, just arrive. There's nothing to buy in advance; some individual seated/special zones or workshops may occasionally require free registration, but general admission to the stages and market is open. Bring some cash for food and market stalls, as small vendors may be cash-only.
Getting there & staying
Route: Lukang has no railway station. Easiest options: take the THSR to Taichung (台中站) or the TRA to Changhua Station (彰化車站), then a Changhua Bus (6933/6900-series) or a festival shuttle to Lukang (~40 min). From central Taiwan, Taichung Airport (RMQ) is the nearest airport, though most overseas visitors arrive via Taoyuan (TPE) and take the THSR down.
Staying: Lukang itself has boutique inns and homestays but fills up on festival weekends; nearby Changhua City and Taichung offer far more hotels with easy bus/THSR links back.
