Chill Out Festival
Taipei's most laid-back 'block' festival — walkable straight from Gongguan MRT, mixing indie bands, rap, R&B and DJs by the riverside water park.
About
Autumn Out (秋OUT, also styled Chill Out Festival) is a relaxed, walkable city festival held each October around Gongguan — spread across the Taipei Water Park, the Gongguan Waterfront Plaza and nearby riverside spaces. Taipei music fans know it as the most comfortable and convenient 'block' festival in town: it gathers close to a hundred acts spanning indie bands, rap, R&B and DJ sets, and almost everything is a few minutes' walk from Gongguan MRT. The 2026 edition runs 10–11 October.
Lineup
The 2026 lineup hasn't been announced yet. Expect a large bill (~100 acts) weighted toward Taiwanese indie bands, with rap, R&B and DJ stages mixed in.
How foreigners buy tickets
- It's ticketed, sold on KKTIX. Autumn Out sells through the local platform KKTIX (the organiser is PIPE Live Music). For reference, the 2025 edition priced advance tickets at about NT$1,490 single-day / NT$2,980 two-day — treat these as a guide and check the official page for the confirmed 2026 price.
- A foreign card is fine. KKTIX accepts international Visa/Mastercard, and you don't need a Taiwan phone number or ID to register and buy. Create a free KKTIX account with your email.
- No real-name ticketing. Tickets aren't tied to your ID; you exchange your order for a wristband/ticket at the gate.
Getting there & staying
Route: From Taoyuan Airport (TPE) take the Airport MRT to Taipei Main Station, then the MRT Green Line to Gongguan Station (公館站, G07). Exit 1 or 4 puts you a 5–10 minute walk from the Taipei Water Park and the Gongguan waterfront stages.
Staying: Gongguan itself, or anywhere on the Green/Red MRT lines (Ximen, Taipei Main, Zhongzheng), keeps you a short ride away. Gongguan is a student district with cheap eats and easy late-night transit.
